First overseen by the late legendary French chef Albert Roux, our restaurant at Crossbasket is now masterminded by his son Michel Roux Jr and entrusted to his award-winning executive head chef to run every day. Together, the two chefs pay homage to Michel’s late father, whilst breathing fresh new life into traditional French cooking using seasonal Scottish produce.

The Baillie Room, luxuriously adorned with gold leaf and lavish antiques, offers a unique and romantic atmosphere for dining that evokes the bygone era of our castle's origins. Alternatively, for a more relaxing experience, unwind in our lounge area and enjoy delightful conversations with family and friends, complete with scrumptious food.

Afternoon Tea

Kindly note that the time of your booking is your arrival time, and we will take you to your table half an hour later. For instance, if you wish to dine at 8pm, please book an arrival at 7.30pm for drinks and canapés, and your table will be ready for you at 8pm.
