  • £50 Supplement applies for booking on both Friday and Saturday night
  • Dinner to be taken from the Crossbasket Menu. Dinner must be booked at the time of the reservation. When booking online please note your preferred dining times in the Special Requirements field
  • Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking, however we offer flexibility due to COVID-19 interruptions. Should you need to cancel due to COVID-19 reasons we will offer a credit of the amount pre-paid that can be used towards a reservation for stays before 31st March 2022.
  • Offer bookable minimum 7 days in advance.


Chatelherault Park

Chatelherault Country Park

Chatelherault Country Park is a Five Star Visitor Attraction that was once described as a 'Jewel in the Landscape'. Built in 1732 as a Hunting Lodge and Summer House for the Dukes of Hamilton.

The restored buildings now house a Visitor Centre; the West Lodge comprising of the Banqueting Hall and Duke and Duchess Apartments; Exhibition Gallery and Displays; Gift Shop and Café. Outside, visitors can explore 10 miles of walks along the scenic River Avon and through ancient woodland.

Through the day you will have the opportunity to learn about Scotland's national poet at his cottage, visit one of the country's grandest manor houses set in a stunning 2,000-acre estate, and wander the tropical gardens of Culzean Castle, perched on a cliff edge. You will visit Ayr, a lovely seaside town, complete with charming sea front, leafy suburbs and range of places to eat.

The town has a fantastic esplanade with a long sandy beach which is perfect for a peaceful walk.
