Celebrate a traditional Scottish Hogmanay at Crossbasket Castle, where we have created a decadent 3-night package that will allow you to enjoy a tranquil, yet fun filed break.
The spectacular 16th century tower and 18th century castle is tucked away on the outskirts of the bustling city of Glasgow, overlooking the stunning waterfalls on the River Calder transporting you to the tranquillity and beauty of a vast country estate.
Arrive from 2.30pm on Saturday 30th December when the celebrations begin. Tea and homemade scones will be served in the opulent public rooms on the ground floor of the castle. In the evening, you will enjoy a 3-course meal in our Michel Roux Jr Restaurant.
On Hogmanay Morning, a full Scottish breakfast awaits you in the dining room, and a light lunch is served to tide you over until the evening.
You are cordially invited to be our guest at a Champagne reception commencing at 6.30pm, before making your way through to our magnificent Roosevelt Ballroom for an amazing six course meal overseen by the son of legendary French chef Albert Roux OBE, KFO, Michel Roux Jr. Spectacular fireworks will bring in 2025, before a late bacon roll supper.
Start 2025 New Year’s Day with a late Brunch served into the early afternoon and relax with family and new friends with entertainment from our Jazz Band. The day is then yours for perhaps a walk on the estate, relax by the fire with a good book, or go explore the local area.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner, before breakfast the following morning and departure until your next visit.
Terms & Conditions
To secure a room or suite at Crossbasket Castle we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation with the final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31st October 2024. Please note that our cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival, should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation prior this time, you will forfeit the deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay.
It is advisable that you cover yourself with travel indemnity.
