By Road
From Glasgow Airport
Head east, merge onto M8 towards Edinburgh/Glasgow, then take the M74 exit towards Carlisle. At junction 5, take the A725 exit to East Kilbride/Coatbridge/Bellshill then at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the E Kilbride Expressway/A725. In 2 miles, take the B7012 exit towards Blantyre. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit for Blantyre, then at the first set of traffic lights, go straight and at the second set of traffic lights, turn left towards High Blantyre. Following the road, then turn right onto Stoneymeadow Road, the castle is on the right after the road bends.
From Glasgow City Centre

By Air
International arrival from the US, Canada and Europe arrive directly into both Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports. Glasgow Airport is 13 miles away and Edinburgh Airport is 40 miles away.
By Rail
From Glasgow Central the journey operated by Scotrail will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Blantyre Train Station. From there, a taxi would be required for the short distance to the Castle. We recommend Hastie Cars on (0044) 1698 825000 and advance bookings would be required, or alternatively speak with our reservations team when making your booking.
By Helicopter
Crossbasket Castle does not have a helipad onsite, however we are able to assist with landing on nearby farmland. Please contact Crossbasket Castle for further details.
