"We held our wedding at Crossbasket Castle and cannot recommend it enough as a venue. The castle itself is absolutely stunning and has such a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. You have the castle and grounds all to yourself on your wedding day, as well as nine incredible bedrooms to stay overnight. We chose to book all of the bedrooms for the night before too - this was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding as it meant we were able to have a lazy morning, a lovely breakfast, and then get ready for the day ahead.
Aside from the decor and surrounds, the staff were just fantastic. Everything ran like clockwork so we were able to just relax and really enjoy our day. So many of our guests told us how terrific the staff were. They were particularly impressed with how dinner was served with military-like precision!
The quality of the meal was superb. One of our guests told us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and another has tried to recreate the pea soup at home! All in all, excellent. We wouldn't change a second of the day."

"Just a wee email to say thank you so much to you, Rob and everyone at Crossbasket for the most amazing wedding! Was everything I had hoped for and everything went so smoothly. Everyone commented not only on how beautiful Crossbasket is, but the service everyone received and how impeccable it was. I can't wait to come back, I'm sure it won't be long!"
"Colin and I recently held our wedding at Crossbasket and we can truthfully say we could not have had a more special day. From our arrival at the stunning venue for our ceremony, through to carriages at midnight the team at Crossbasket made sure everything was perfect. I’m sure they even made the sun shine for us and kept away the clouds. We had over 120 guests who without exception were suitably impressed by the grandeur of the venue, and the friendliness of the Crossbasket team.
Our entire day was orchestrated to perfection by Vicki, Rob and the amazing staff at the Castle. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone did their job with professionalism and a smile.
Colin and I looked at a few venues across West Scotland but none compares to Crossbasket. We wanted a venue that gave us exclusive use of space, with amazing scenery, and a great menu. Crossbasket Castle gave us this, and so much more. The food was exquisite, with excellent choice and great taste and presentation. They were easily able to cope with the multitude of special and challenging dietary requirements of our guests; a real plus for us.
Colin and I cannot praise the venue highly enough. If you want a perfect wedding then you must choose the perfect venue in Crossbasket Castle."
